The popular shooter Valve's game has been breaking player records month after month, with averages that do not drop below one million players and peaks of more than 1.6M simultaneous players in this 2024.
Neither the Palworld, Helldivers or NARAKA fads nor PUBG or Dota 2 have succeeded in dethroning the shooterbut now the CS2 figures are being called into question by the number of bots in the game.
Twitter has started sharing clips of gameplay in the mode. deathmatch full of bots, still dummies that are simply waiting to receive a few drops that are the problem.
In CS2 you receive free boxes that you can open each week that may include skins of weapons, objects or graffiti, and some of these items can be worth a lot of money on the Steam platform if you sell them.
In fact, these bots are configured to kill what is just and necessary to receive experience and qualify for the drops weekly, something that is spoiling the experience for many casual gamers.
Even so, it is impossible to say that the CS2 figures are inflated by bots, as many of them will be real players, but the truth is that this affects one of the most historical records of the shooter of Valve after more than two decades in the market.
